Service times

9AM | 10:45AM | 6PM

Our 9am and 10:45am services have kids and youth programmes for those from crèche age to grade 8.

What can I expect coming along?

  • Church goes for just over an hour, followed by great food. During the service we’ll have some songs, read the Bible and pray.

  • The kids will then head out during our service time to Kids’ Church with trained kids leaders, where they get to have fun together whilst learning about Jesus. We have groups for kids from crèche age to grade 8 at our 9am and 10:45am services. All our Kids Church leaders are Safe Ministry accredited.

  • The Bible is at the centre of our services, so as you hear it read and taught, we hope you find it challenging and helpful in understanding what Jesus is all about.

  • We have an assistive listening system available.

Got Questions? Here's some FAQs:

If you’ve never been to a church before, it might all seem a bit strange to you. That’s ok, everyone is welcome. When you come, you won’t be asked to pray or read the Bible out loud. We’d love to welcome you and get to know you, so expect some friendly faces. We regularly have new people coming to see what happens at Hope, and that’s fine with us!

If you’ve been to a church before, or call yourself a follower of Jesus, you’ll find us relaxed and relatively informal. We are committed to teaching about Jesus faithfully, and loving all those we meet.

At Hope Church, we love kids and youth. We see them as an important part of our church community. Our desire is to share the truth of Jesus with everyone, including young people. As such, we strive to create a church community where all kids and youth feel that they belong.

On Sunday mornings, we have Kids Church for those crèche aged to grade 5, and Sunday Youth for those in grades 6-8.

We welcome all kids. If your child has a disability or any requirements, we would welcome your input as to how we can best care for and involve them in our programmes.

We have a Parents’ Room if your child is restless or needs feeding.

Wear whatever you feel comfortable and relaxed in – that’s how we’ll be! People from lots of different cultures come along to Hope Church. If you’d wear it to the shops, you can wear it to church!

Everyone is welcome. Hope Anglican Church is a place where anyone can come, consider who Jesus is, and meet us. If you have any honest questions or issues, we won’t be offended by you raising them. We’re more than happy to chat.
